Go All In – The 2026 Year of Reading is a Department of Education initiative supported by sponsors and partner organisations. It’s aim is to reconnect reading with everyday culture.
An official aim of this year-long initiative is to “empower teachers and practitioners with creative ways to make reading part of everyday learning, not another thing to add to the list.” The ‘Go All In’ message is that children and young people should be encouraged to link reading with their personal interests and passions, whatever form this takes.
