We are delighted to announce that Zanib Mian, author of the Planet Omar books, will be our headline act for World Book Day 2024 – Thursday 7th March.
Zanib will be at the Genesis Cinema for two events – 10.30am to 11.30am and 1.30pm to 2.30pm and will sign copies of her books after each event.
Zanib shot to fame in 2018 with the first book in what would become the award winning Planet Omar series. Most recently, she’s taking the children’s book world by storm with a new detective series, Meet the Maliks . Her books feature regularly on our “Must Read” book list.
Her talk is suitable for years 3 to 7
For schools who subscribe to the Schools Library Service, this event is £3 per pupil and £5 per pupil for all other schools.
Please book by 19th February (end of half term) by sending an email, stating your preference for morning or afternoon sessions (or “don’t mind”), and the number and year group/s of the children you wish to bring to jacob.turner@towerhamlets.gov.uk
