4th November saw students from Morpeth School and Central Foundation Girls’ School battle it out at the KS3 Slam.
Students performed in individual and group categories and prizes were awarded for best group performance, best individual performance, and best line.
Winners were:
- Best Group : Central Foundation Girls’ School. Zaima Anas, Nasiha Ahmed, Rayah Rahman, Amera Otaifa, Lamisa Oishi and Malieha Choudhury
- Best Line was written by Amani Islam from Central Foundation Girls’ School. “Her house is a prison and she is losing the key”
- Best Individual act was Isa Haque (with beatboxing by Michael Sarumi) from Morpeth School
Our next Slam in 2022 is the Junior Slam for KS2. This will be run alongside the 2022 Creative Writing competition!
